It aimed to popularize fire safety knowledge, strengthen students’ safety awareness, and enhance their abilities in self-protection, self-rescue and emergency response. The individual contest assessed participants’ speed and accuracy in donning full fire-fighting protective gear and transporting fire extinguishers, testing their personal practical proficiency.

Simulating real fire rescue scenarios, the team contest included five modules: Firefighting Pioneer, Maze Escape, United Strength, Fireline Embankment and Fire Rescue, covering practical skills such as hose connection, crawling escape, obstacle breaking, sandbag stacking and stretcher rescue.

The contest fully examined teams’ collaboration and on-site adaptability. During the contest, all participants performed standard and skillful movements with seamless teamwork. Their smooth and efficient operations demonstrated solid fire-fighting literacy and won rounds of applause from the audience.

The contest received active participation from all schools, presenting an intense and splendid contest atmosphere. After fierce contest, Jia Zishuo from the School of Hotel Engineering won the first prize in the individual event. Yan Shuo from the School of Business Administration and Li Zhenbo from the School of Accounting won the second prize.
