In the centre of the logo, the initial letter ‘H’, which stands for Hotel, Home, Hard, Hospitality, is combined with the characteristics of a Roman column, highlighting the college's royal and hallowed image. The serifs at the top and bottom of the letter ‘H’ are thickened to bring it closer to the shape of the column, signifying the school's role as a backbone for nurturing elite talents in the hospitality industry. The colour was changed to dark blue to give it a heavier sense of weight to carry the important mission of cultivating talents.
The initial letter ‘S’ in the logo represents Smile, Sea, Soft and Service, with three flashes of orange, yellow and green. The colours are bright and warm, with strong contrasts and tension, like dancing ribbons, highlighting the colourful campus life, the diversified and inclusive cultural atmosphere, and the vibrant campus.
