On July 20, the launching ceremony of the 2026 College Student Empowerment Cultural and Tourism Live Streaming Industry Development was held at Jiaodong Courtyard in Nanshu Town, Laixi City.
In his speech, Diao Hongbin, Secretary of the college Party Committee, expressed sincere gratitude to the Communist Youth League Qingdao Municipal Committee, the CPC Laixi Municipal Committee and Laixi Municipal People’s Government for their long-term care and support for the college’s development, and briefly introduced the college’s educational heritage and development achievements. He noted that Laixi boasts outstanding geographical advantages and abundant cultural and tourism resources. The college and Laixi share close geographical and human bonds and enjoy a solid foundation for cooperation. The college will take the initiative to integrate into Laixi’s regional development, give full play to its professional and talent advantages, and help Laixi optimize cultural and tourism formats, build local cultural and tourism brands, and improve the digital marketing system. It will effectively transform vocational education resources into driving forces for local industrial development and realize resource sharing, complementary advantages and win-win development between the school and the local government.
Niu Xiangrong, Director of the Organization Department, reviewed the achievements of live-streaming-based agriculture assistance and income increase in Laixi. He thanked the college for its early practical efforts, including organizing volunteer teams to carry out agricultural live streaming and skill training in 11 towns and sub-districts of Laixi to support grassroots development. He stated that Laixi has always regarded live-streaming sales as a key measure to enrich farmers, revitalize agriculture and energize the rural economy. He urged all towns and sub-districts to seize the opportunity of school-local cooperation, further deepen the integrated model of “live streaming + cultural tourism + agricultural products”, and inject youthful vitality into rural revitalization.
During the ceremony, Diao Hongbin, Li Yaoxian, Deputy Secretary of the Communist Youth League Qingdao Municipal Committee, Niu Xiangrong and Du Shanshan, Vice Mayor of Laixi City, jointly awarded flags to the practice teams, officially kicking off the 2026 college student empowerment campaign for cultural and tourism live streaming industry development.
At the event site, Gong Enlong and Du Shanshan jointly unveiled the College Student Social Practice Base. Meanwhile, focusing on three key projects — the upgrading of all-region cultural and tourism industries, paired college student live streaming assistance for agriculture, and the IP incubation of Laixi Lake delicacies — the college signed cooperation agreements with the Laixi Bureau of Culture and Tourism, the Communist Youth League Laixi Municipal Committee and Laifa Group respectively. The jointly built projects precisely align with local industrial demands, establishing a comprehensive and multi-level industrial cooperation system to promote the integrated and high-quality development of Laixi’s cultural tourism, agricultural products and specialty catering industries.
The successful holding of the launching ceremony serves as a vivid practice of the college’s in-depth school-local cooperation, industry-education integration, and efforts to empower the digital development of local cultural and tourism industries, marking that school-local cooperation has entered a new stage of project-based, practical and result-oriented development.
