Recently, at the 18th Shandong Provincial Vocational College Skills Competition, students from the School of Culture and Tourism and School of Arts delivered outstanding performances in the Tourism Track and Art Design Track of the higher vocational group, winning one gold medal, one silver medal and one third prize.
In the Tourism Track of the higher vocational group, the participating team was composed of four students—Xu Yishi, Yang Runze, Wei Hong and Sun Leyu—under the guidance of teachers Tian Zhangshan and Han Xiao. With excellent comprehensive capabilities and stable on-site performance, the team won the gold medal with the first place in the parallel group.
This competition was closely aligned with the development trend of the cultural and tourism industry and the core competency requirements of related positions. It comprehensively assessed the contestants' innovative thinking, professional practical abilities and teamwork skills in solving real enterprise problems and applying practical technologies.
In the Art Design Track, the team consisting of students Bi Mengtian, Han Le, Liu Mengmeng and Sun Yu, guided by teachers Wang Tingting and Wang Xiaoyan, won the second place in the group and obtained the silver medal of this event.
The participating team composed of Song Yunxi, Liang Yunhao, Zhang Tengsheng and Zhang Shige, under the guidance of teachers Dong Jingjing and Liu Yuxin from the School of Art, won the third prize.
Taking real cultural and creative projects as the carrier, the competition required participating teams to develop original visual systems and plan brand expansion paths, vividly practicing the new integration mode of industry and education featuring culture-led, IP-driven and digital-empowered.
During the preparation phase, we adhered to real projects as the carrier and practical problems as the orientation. It closely connected with the development trend of the cultural and tourism industry and the front-line needs of enterprises, and actively introduced real enterprise tasks, technical difficulties and operational scenarios to cultivate students' technical application, innovative thinking and problem-solving abilities in real situations.
Taking this opportunity, the college will closely align with the real needs of the industry, innovate the talent training mechanism, and improve students' post competence, career development ability and social adaptability. It will continuously transport high-quality compound skilled talents for the high-quality development of the cultural and tourism industry and regional economy.
