On December 12th, the special session of the Navigating Career Paths, Forging a Brighter Future Licang District Youth Talent Empowerment Initiative took place in the college's lecture hall.
It's to thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important thoughts on youth work, focus on enhancing young talents' professional capabilities, and establish a regular college-local government empowerment platform that connects talent cultivation with industrial needs.
The session is guided by the Communist Youth League Qingdao Municipal Committee and co-hosted by the Communist Youth League Licang District Committee and the Communist Youth League Committee of the College,
Diao Hongbin, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, delivered a speech on behalf of the college. He stated that the college has always adhered to the concept of industry-education integration characterized by enterprises raising questions, colleges and enterprises jointly finding solutions, and the market evaluating results. It has innovated talent training models and built a full-chain employment and entrepreneurship guidance service system. As a result, the development environment for young talents has been continuously optimized, and platforms for innovation and entrepreneurship have been steadily improved.

Diao Hongbin encouraged the students present to carefully listen to the valuable experience shared by enterprise guests, clarify their career directions, take the initiative to engage in practice, and firmly pursue the path of achieving success through skills and serving the motherland with skills.

Ji Weishang, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Licang District Committee of Qingdao, emphasized in his speech that young talents in the catering, accommodation, cultural and tourism-related industries are crucial resources for Licang District to improve the quality of modern service industry and boost the vitality of the consumer market. They serve as a bridge linking people's livelihood services and regional development. The growth and development of young people must be placed in a prominent position in talent work and promoted in a coordinated manner.
At the licensing ceremony, Zhou Zheng, Secretary of the Communist Youth League Qingdao Municipal Committee, awarded appointment letters of Licang District Young New-type Cultural and Tourism Talents Innovation and Entrepreneurship Mentors to outstanding representatives from the hotel, catering and education sectors. This further consolidated the four-party (government-college-enterprise-society) collaborative mechanism for young talent cultivation.

In the keynote sharing session, six guests from different fields, including Wang Tao, Chairman of Qingdao Wanhechun Catering Management Co., Ltd., shared their experiences. These sharing sessions helped students clarify their career plans, strengthen their confidence in employment and entrepreneurship, and enhance their comprehensive competitiveness.
During the round-table forum and interactive exchange, guests on the stage and students off the stage had heated discussions on hot topics such as brand planning and building and career direction selection, with warm atmosphere and constant applause.
The event also arranged for participating leaders to visit the college's Hismile Digital Hotel and Culinary Training Center, enabling them to have an on-site understanding of the college's school-running characteristics in talent cultivation, the construction of practical training systems and teaching achievements.
At the forum, both sides conducted in-depth discussions on issues such as difficulties in youth employment and the implementation of entrepreneurship support policies. They gave full play to the advantages of resource integration and adopted practical measures to empower young people's growth and development.
The college will continue to expand the chain of young talent cultivation and services, strengthen its core advantages in cultivating skilled talents, and effectively transform the achievements of government-college-enterprise collaboration into strong support for young students to broaden employment channels and build entrepreneurship platforms.
