The 17th Qingdao Vocational Skills Competition for Building Information Modeling(BIM) Technician started in our school on August 20. More than 90 contestants from 31 enterprises competed fairly on the spot.
The competition was organized by Qingdao Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau and Qingdao Federation of Trade Unions, and co-organized by the college, China Architecture&Port Design and Research Institute and so on.
The competition was divided into two parts: basic theory and practical skills.
Among them, the basic theory test mainly focuses on architectural drafting, basic knowledge of drawing, introduction to BIM technology, professional ethics of building information modeling technicians, relevant policies of civil engineering and electromechanical installation industry, and operation of BIM software, etc.
The practical part mainly focuses on completing the civil engineering and electromechanical BIM modeling based on the drawings provided and deepening the design and analysis of the model, and the accuracy of the deepening design model should meet the requirements of LOD300.
In recent years, the School of Hotel Engineering has continued to deepen the integration of industry and education, and endeavored to build a community of cooperation among the government, leading enterprises and schools.
We will take this opportunity to continue to deepen the comprehensive education model of promoting teaching and learning by competition.
