The final of the 2024 Provincial Vocational College Teaching Ability Competition

On 14-15 August, the final of the 2024 Vocational College Teaching Ability Competition of Shandong province was held in our college. 

Sponsored by the Department of Education of Shandong province, hosted by Shandong Academy of Educational Sciences and co-organized by the college, the Competition was grouped according to secondary and higher vocational, as well as curriculum and professional categories, and 16 competition venues were set up in total.

In the afternoon of the 14th, the Organizing Committee of the Competition organized a pre-competition briefing in the college gymnasium, which comprehensively introduced the preparations for the competition, the evaluation of the participating teams, the rules and procedures of the final session, and the competition's service guarantee.

After the meeting, the participating teams completed the familiarization with the competition venue and the debugging of the equipment in an orderly manner.

On the 15th, the final of the Competition officially opened, 781 participating teachers of 196 teaching teams gathered at the venue to start a fierce competition.

The on-site final was divided into two parts: the judges watched the teaching video submitted by the team and the comprehensive quality display. The whole competition was in good order, effectively stimulating the enthusiasm of the contestants, who were well-prepared and full of spirit, which comprehensively demonstrated the reform achievements of the new era of vocational education and the style of teachers.

All relevant departments of the college co-operated and solidly promoted the preparatory work of the event, which was highly evaluated by the participating teams.

Provincial Vocational College Teaching Ability Competition is the largest and highest level of teachers‘ teaching competition in the province. It is of great significance to comprehensively improve the ability to practice teacher ethics, professional teaching ability, digital literacy level, comprehensive education ability and independent development ability, and strive to build a high-level, structured teachers' teaching and innovation team.

The school co-organized the competition, demonstrating the effectiveness of teaching reform and the results of teacher team building over the years.
