The graduation ceremony of class 2024 was held in the Academic Auditorium on 30 June. 4,766 students from 8 schools successfully completed their studies and embarking on a new journey with youthful dreams.
The graduation ceremony opened with a microfilm on the school's graduation season. Li Da, secretary of the school Party committee, made a graduation message entitled Strive to be a good youth in the new era, reviewing the achievements of students in the past three years in the journey with the country and the school, and feeling proud of the students' growth and transformation.
President Jiang Yupeng awarded diplomas to graduate representatives and shook hands with students one by one to express congratulations.
Among 4,766 graduates, 125 students joined the Communist Party of China, 49 students enlisted in the army, 286 students were awarded the 2024 Outstanding Graduates of Shandong province, 555 students received scholarships at the national, provincial and ministerial levels or above, and 792 students will enter undergraduate schools to continue their studies.
Wang Xinyu, representative of graduates and majoring in Modern Property Management, said that she would uphold the school motto of Diligence, Sincereness, Smartness and Elegance and embark on a new journey with dreams.
Mr Guo Guirong, teachers' representative from the School of Hospitality Management, said that graduates should love themselves, enjoy life and create a youth without regrets.
