The Finals of 15th Shandong College Students' Mathematics Competition (higher vocational colleges group) came to an end in Weifang on 1st June. Our students achieved excellent results in the competition, winning 2 first prizes, 5 second prizes and 7 third prizes, and Ji Yanfeng was awarded the ‘Outstanding Instructor’.
As one of the activities of the 16th Shandong College Students‘ Science and Technology Festival, this Competition aims to cultivate talents, serve teaching and promote the reform and construction of mathematics curriculum in higher vocational colleges, and focuses on cultivating college students’ analytical and problem-solving abilities, and stimulating their interest in mathematics learning.
There are 76 participating colleges and universities, and the students' majors cover Science and Technology, Economics and Management, Politics and Law, Teacher Education, Medical science, Military and so on, which is the most widely participated and influential subject competition in the province.
The achievement of this competition fully demonstrates the achievements of the school's mathematics teaching reform.
