Wang Jialu Won Gold Medal in the 1st National College Students' Career Planning Competition

The finals of the First National College Students' Career Planning Competition were held in Shanghai on May 10-12, and Wang Jialu won the gold medal in the employment track of the vocational education group.

The finals of the First National College Students' Career Planning Competition were held in Shanghai on May 10-12, and Wang Jialu, a student majoring in hotel management and digital operation, won the gold medal in the employment track of the vocational education group.

Organized by the Ministry of Education, the competition, with the theme of building dreams and youthful aspirations, and planning career for the future, aims to make the competition a big classroom for strengthening career education, a big platform for promoting the matching of supply and demand of talents, and a big market for serving graduates' employment.

The competition is organized in three levels: the school contest, the provincial competition and the national final, with a growth track for freshmen and sophomore, an employment track for senior students, and a higher education group and a vocational education group for each track.

Since its launch in August 2023, a total of 9.52 million students have registered, covering 2,740 colleges and universities. Among them, 2.08 million students enrolled in the student employment track.

In the finals, Wang Jialu, under the title of Dreaming of Excellence in Hospitality - Starting scratch, centered on the four parts of Craftsmanship spirit, craftsmen, craftsmen's talents, craftsmen's souls. Through the three sessions of theme presentation, questions from the judges and sudden offer, she demonstrated their growth process through learning and practicing to continuously improve her abilities and qualities, so as to match the employment positions.

The school has launched the school competition since last November, after extensive mobilization, careful organization, and coordinated promotion, a total of nearly 6,000 students registered to participate in the competition, effectively promoting the connotation of school career education construction.

The school will take this competition as a chance to strive to improve the quality of career guidance and career planning education, and effectively promote the high quality and full employment of our graduates.
