Modern Hotel Service Competition is held successfully at QVTCHM

Modern Hotel Service Competition for vocational colleges of Shandong province is held successfully at QVTCHM from November 13-14.

75 contestants of 25 groups from 17 cities took part in the competition organized by Shandong Provincial Education Department and other departments.

As the co-organized college, QVTCHM make great efforts to guarantee everything in order and provide a good platform to demonstrate their skills.

Volunteers and staff taking part in this competition greeted guests with sincere smiles and showed off our motto: Diligence, Sincere, Smartness and Elegance.

Competition

Modern Hotel Service Competition consists of three parts: the layout design of Chinese Banquet, A la carte service of western cuisine and beverage making and the percentage of marks is  30%,40% and 30% respectively.

The layout design of Chinese Banquet contains the layout design, layout a table for eight people, napkin folding, the design and making of menu and explanation of theme etc. A la carte service of western cuisine has two parts: the layout of a table for two and a la carte service including the following steps: taking orders, tableware adjusting, serving wine and main course, taking away table. The beverage making includes fruit platter and self-made cocktails.
