Mr. Gong Enlong and his party visited Canadore College from November 5-8 and attended the ceremony of setting up Institute of Chinese Culinary Arts in Canadore College.
During the visit, George Burton,president of Canadore College, and Mr. Gong Enlong, Vice president of HVTCHM, had a great talk and recalled the achievements since four years’ cooperation. They also discussed some details about further cooperation in several aspects such as business administration management and Information technology, professional teachers’ training, students’ internationalization, linking of course standard and recognition of credits.
The ceremony of Institute of Chinese Culinary Arts in Canadore College symbolizes setting up first branch of our culinary arts abroad. On the basis of current cooperation, Canadore College introduces some courses of our Chinese cuisine and invites our lecturers to their classes to demonstrate some cooking operations and give lectures, which actively recommends Chinese cuisine and language.
Mr. Gong Enlong also visited 3 teachers and 7 students who are studying in Canadore College. They talked about the training program , watched the class demonstration of western cuisine, visited training center of engineering and international students apartments to know about the regulations of management.
The visit to Canadore College deepens our cooperation and the setup of Institute of Chinese Culinary Arts is good to the construction of excellent college and our international development.
