The College Leads 2025 Annual Meeting of International Exchange & Cooperation Committee

The 2025 Annual Meeting of the International Exchange and Cooperation Committee under the National Tourism Vocational Education Teaching Steering Committee, led by our college, was held at Kashgar Vocational and Technical College from December 6 to 7.

In his speech, Han Xiqing, Deputy Party Secretary and President of our college, stated that member units of the International Exchange and Cooperation Committee have continuously deepened school-enterprise collaboration, actively promoted the alignment of tourism vocational education with international production capacity cooperation and the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, carried out high-quality research on international exchange and cooperation work and collection of typical cases, and gave full play to the committee’s functions of research guidance and consulting services.

At the meeting, committee members—Hu Hongmei (Dean of Academic Affairs, Zhengzhou Tourism Vocational College), Yan Zhong (Director of International Exchange and Cooperation, Nanjing Tourism Vocational College), and Yao Yiqin (Director of School-Enterprise Cooperation, Guangdong Literary and Art Vocational College)—shared typical cases of international exchange work.

Attending committee members and university representatives conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on topics including the committee’s annual work and the unique role of tourism vocational education in serving the Belt and Road Initiative.

The college will further leverage its role as the chairman unit of the International Exchange and Cooperation Committee under the National Tourism Vocational Education Teaching Steering Committee. Centering on the national strategy of vocational education internationalization and the construction task of the provincial-level double-high major group in premium tourism, we will focus on key tasks such as strengthening industry-education integration and innovation, expanding international cooperation networks, and improving the international talent training system, continuously exploring and researching experiences and paths for the international development of tourism vocational education.
