The 2025 Chinese Bridge Educators Delegation visited the college for exchange activities on October 29.

Han Xiqing, Deputy Secretary of the college Party Committee, and educators from countries including Pakistan and Uzbekistan attended the event.

Han Xiqing extended a warm welcome to the delegation and introduced the college’s profile, covering its history, program strengths, and achievements in international exchanges. He emphasized that the college has actively responded to the Belt and Road Initiative (a global cooperation initiative focusing on infrastructure and cultural exchanges), and hoped the delegation would gain first-hand insights into the innovative practices of China’s vocational education, as well as the unique charm of the Chinese language and culture.

Sadullaev Shahriyor, Director of the Marketing Department at Tashkent State Agrarian University (Uzbekistan), spoke on behalf of the delegation. He thanked the college for its warm reception and thoughtful arrangements, adding that he would share the college experience in running schools and preserving culture with more colleagues. He also expressed expectations for in-depth cooperation in international Chinese language education and the joint training of vocational and technical talents in the future.

During the visit, the delegation toured on-campus training facilities, including the Training Center of the School of Culinary Arts, Hismile Digital Hotel (a simulated hotel for hospitality training), Cainiao Station (a campus logistics service point partnered with China’s leading logistics company Cainiao), and the Bobo Kezi Museum.

  • Bobo Kezi: A traditional Chinese      pastry mold used to make festive pastries, with intricate patterns      reflecting local culture. The museum showcases the history and      craftsmanship of this intangible cultural heritage item.

The delegation highly praised the college’s advanced philosophy of vocational education, outstanding achievements, and well-equipped teaching facilities.

This visit is a key step for the college to advance internationalized education. As the first college in Shandong Province to be named a China-ASEAN Outstanding Partner in Vocational Education, the college will continue to use vocational education as a platform. It will strengthen Chinese language teacher training, deepen international exchanges and cooperation, and help more overseas friends understand Chinese culture through the lens of vocational education—contributing to China’s high-level opening-up.
