The summary meeting for the 2025 teaching competitions for teachers in Shandong Province

The college organized  the summary meeting for the 2025 Teaching Competition for Young Teachers in Shandong Colleges and the Teaching Competence Competition for Vocational Colleges in Shandong Province, along with the mobilization meeting for 2026 on September 24th.

Diao Hongbin recognized and commended all the accomplishments that the college has achieved in teacher competitions in recent years. He highly praised the teachers who presented on-site for their solid foundational skills, seamless teaching processes, advanced teaching concepts, flexible teaching methods, and remarkable educational outcomes.

He emphasized that great significance should be attached to teacher competitions. The college as a whole, functional departments, all schools, and individual teachers all need to reach a common understanding. The school-level competitions should be organized effectively to comprehensively cultivate and enhance the quality of the entries. Research efforts should be intensified to continuously accumulate practical experience. The competition models and results should be consolidated to facilitate their transformation and application. Moreover, the mechanism should be continuously refined to further strengthen the incentive measures.

Furthermore, he put forward five suggestions regarding the preparation work:

  • Continuously enhance the learning of professional knowledge and the improvement of teaching ability.

  • Thoroughly study vocational education policies, concepts, and educational teaching theories.

  • Strengthen the integration of industry and education and introduce real projects to drive teaching reforms.

  • Improve the literacy in artificial intelligence and reinforce the application of AI technology.

  • Adhere to repeated training and promote the cultivation of results with high standards and strict requirements.

Teacher Li Hui from the School of Accounting, Teacher Wu Yang from the School of Hotel Engineering, and the teacher team consisting of Zhan Xiaofei, Song Zhipeng, Qiao Xiaoman, and Peng Xia from the School of Information Engineering Technology respectively showcased their award-winning works in the 2025 Teaching Competition in Shandong Province.

Yi Wenjuan, the dean of the School of Information Engineering Technology, shared her experience. She focused on three key aspects: the college's overall coordination to solve problems, the discerning review to capture scoring points, and the integrated promotion of courses, competitions, and teaching materials, and delved deeply into the core strategies for preparing for these competitions.

Yu Jinliang, the director of the Academic Affairs Office, presented a report on the summary and planning of the competitions. He systematically reviewed, analyzed, and arranged work from multiple aspects, including the data analysis of the competitions and the summary of the results, the extraction and sharing of the preparation experience, the analysis of the current problems and challenges, and the planning of the key work for the next stage.

This meeting systematically sorted out the achievements and valuable experience gained from the competitions, clarified the direction for future efforts, and further unified the thinking and pooled the collective strength.

Teachers will engage in educational teaching reforms with even greater enthusiasm and concrete actions, striving to achieve excellent results in various competitions in 2026 and injecting new vitality into the high-quality development of the college.
