The School of Information Engineering and Technology has implemented a series of comprehensive measures to holistically enhance the employability of young college students.

Corporate Visits Foster Industry-Academia Collaboration

On April 2, faculty members and students from the School of Information Engineering and Technology visited Qingdao Gaoke Communication Co., Ltd. and other enterprises to learn about core business areas such as data security, artificial intelligence, big data analytics, and cloud computing. Both the school and the companies expressed their commitment to deepening school-enterprise cooperation, strengthening supply-demand alignment, and establishing long-term, stable partnerships. These efforts aim to provide graduates with more high-quality employment opportunities and jointly advance talent cultivation and technological innovation.

Career Experience Sharing in One-Stop Campus Apartment

On April 9, a career experience sharing session was hosted as part of its one-stop apartment complex initiative. Alumni, including outstanding graduate Li Hongyun, shared their transitions from campus to the workplace, emphasizing the importance of internship experiences, professional skills, and lifelong learning. Their insights, drawn from rich professional journeys and profound life reflections, sparked lively and in-depth discussions with current students.

Resume Competition Prepares Students for the Future

The school also organized a resume competition, where advisors provided guidance on resume templates, essential content, and strategies to highlight personal strengths. Students showcased creativity in their submissions while planning their career paths. The competition not only helped senior students refine materials for job hunting, further education, and interviews but also offered younger students a forward-looking platform to build practical experience frameworks, enabling proactive career planning.

The School of Information Engineering and Technology will continue to uphold its student-centered philosophy, innovate models for employment and entrepreneurship support, and contribute to nurturing more high-quality, application-oriented talents.
