Focusing on the development trend of the industry and the adaptability of talent training, the team of School of Culture and Tourism went to Qingdao Culture and Tourism Bureau and Qingdao Ocean-tech Valley to carry out specialty research recently, exploring the new way of integrating industry chain - education chain - talent chain.
At the Qingdao Culture and Tourism Bureau, the two sides jointly discussed the operation mode of the Tourism Big Data Engineering and Technology Innovation Centre, conducted in-depth exchanges on the training of digital culture and tourism talents, and reached a cooperation intention on the construction of culture and tourism data visualisation training project.
The research team also focused on Badong Town and Tiantaishan Art & Culture Town in Qingdao Ocean-tech Valley, and explored hot spring tour, study tour, recreation and health tour, cultural and creative design, and other culture and tourism fusion of new business forms.
In the research talks, Yu Jie, Deputy Director of Qingdao Ocean-tech Valley Management Bureau, highlighted the advantages of cultural and tourism resources in Qingdao Ocean-tech Valley, and the research group put forward opinions and suggestions to help Qingdao Ocean-tech Valley refine its cultural and tourism brand around the practical teaching mode of enterprises propose, teachers and students solve problems.
This specialty research has strengthened the close contact between the school and the government, industry and enterprises, providing strong support for the specialty construction and high-quality development of the regional culture and tourism economy.
