The final of the 2nd Shandong College Students' Career Planning Competition was successfully concluded from March 8 to 13, and it was sponsored by Shandong Province Human Resources and Social Security Department and Shandong Province Education Department and organized by Shandong Province Public Employment and Talent Service Center.
The participating students of the college performed brilliantly in the competition and won 1 gold and 3 silvers in total.
The competition, with the theme of “Building Dreams with Youthful Aspirations,Planning to Set Sail for the Future”, was divided into two tracks: growth and employment, and set up two groups: higher education group and vocational education group.
Since its launch in October 2024, 1,044,000 college students of 156 colleges and universities have registered to participate in the competition. After the selection of the college competition and the strict evaluation of the provincial review competition, 360 contestants were promoted to the final.
Our student Zhang Lu won the gold medal of the growth track of the vocational education group, Wu Xiaofan, Zhang Yuchen, Wang Huimin won the silver medal; Zhang Xinyue was awarded the title of “excellent instructor”.
The college insists on deeply integrating the concept of career development into the whole cycle of education, and creates an innovative system of course-event-practice training. Through the establishment of career planning courses, industry mentor navigation, career assessment empowerment, the college’s built ladder growth path:a professional awareness - job experience - workplace practice, which helps students realize the seamless transition from academic planning to career development.
Taking the competition as a new starting point, the college will continue to deepen the mechanism of career planning and education, and make every effort to promote the high quality employment of graduates.
