The inaugural meeting of Shandong Digital Teaching Steering Committee of Vocational Institutes(SDTSCVI ) was held in the college on 20 December, and Li Da, Secretary of the Party Committee of the college, was elected as the chairman.
Li Da introduced the main work of the SDTSCVI in 2025. The school will actively build a communication platform, carry out theoretical and practical research in the field of digital teaching in vocational education, and strive to provide decision-making references for educational administrative departments, provide consulting services for the majority of vocational colleges and universities, and provide strong support for the digital construction of vocational colleges and universities in Shandong education.
Relevant experts put forward suggestions on the development of the SDTSCVI, to clarify the function and position, play a leading role in leading the standard development and high-quality construction of education digitalisation, closely combined with the actual teaching of vocational education, and explore new models and paths for the development of vocational education digitalisation with the characteristics of Shandong province. Relevant institutions combined with their own schooling characteristics, sharing the digital empowerment of education and teaching reform practice experience.
The SDTSCVI was approved by Department of Education of Shandong province and its secretariat is located in the college. The Committee is committed to conducting research, consulting, guidance and services related to digital teaching in vocational colleges and universities across the province.
Next, the committee will further establish and improve rules and regulations, systematically carry out research and targeted training on digital literacy in the province, draft the Report on SDTSCVI (2025), and organise the seminar on Digital Development of Vocational Education in Shandong Province and the Annual Work Promotion Meeting of the Committee to provide comprehensive guidance and services for the reform of digital teaching, construction of digital campuses, and improvement of the quality of teachers in vocational colleges in Shandong province.
