The college held the first council meeting of Industry-Education Integration Community of National Boutique Culture &Tourism, and the National Study Tour on December 6, and more than 160 representatives from more than 80 colleges and universities, cultural and tourism enterprises, industry associations and publishing organisations attended the meeting.
Li Da said in his speech that since the Community has been established, member units have jointly developed several sets of new national standard teaching materials for tourism, promoted the construction of professional teaching resource library, and won a number of competitions such as the World Vocational College Skills Competition, which fully demonstrated the strength and vitality of the Community. He stressed that the Community will continue to promote the reform and development of tourism vocational education and help the transformation and upgrading of the boutique cultural tourism and study tourism industry.

All parties in the Community have deepened the integration of industry and education, brought together industry-education resources across the region, and strongly promoted the in-depth integration of the cultural and tourism industry and tourism education. The leading enterprises of the Community, such as Shandong Culture and Tourism Group and Qingdao City Transportation Culture and Tourism Group, read out their work plans for 2025.
Representatives of the National Open University Press and the Tourism Education Press released the construction milestones of the ‘Golden Teaching Material’ respectively.
The school performed the gold medal works of the study tour track of the 2024 World Vocational College Skills Competition.
Jiang Yupeng, president of the college, delivered a keynote speech titled Trends and Prospects of China's Tourism Vocational Education.
