The college held the construction exchange meeting and 1st director work meeting of National Modern Catering Industry-teaching Fusion Community on 5 December.
President Jiang Yupeng summarised the construction work and said that the Community has achieved a series of breakthrough results under the joint efforts of all member units.
President Jiang hopes to strengthen the liaison between the members of the Community, carry out multi-body collaborative education, and open up the blockage point of the development of catering vocational education. He said we would build a digital sharing platform to share the catering vocational education resources, enhance the effectiveness of the Community's services to dock the demand side of the catering industry and the vitality of the development of catering vocational education.
The signing ceremony of the series of planning textbooks for Chinese and Western pastry craft, teaching resource library course construction was held. The members of the Textbook Writing Committee issued the certificate for the new members of the Community governing units. Zhang Xuezhen, Secretary of Qingdao Preschool Education College, gave the speech on behalf of the new members of the governing units.
During the meeting, the participating members exchanged ideas on how to promote the construction of teaching materials and curricula for catering vocational education.
Zhao Yuxia, a curriculum expert from Beijing Century Super Star Information Technology Development Limited Liability Company, made keynote speeches on related issues.
The college will continue to play the role of the joint governing unit of the Community, coordinate the members to carry out in-depth cooperation around the construction of curriculum resource base, compilation of professional teaching materials, cultivation of teachers, etc.
The Community will join hands to promote the catering vocational education to achieve high-quality development, and endeavour to play an active role in the work of serving the major national strategies, adapting to the economic and social development of the region, and upgrading the quality of talent cultivation.
