President Jiang Yupeng led his party to parparticipate in the seminar on the teaching materials for ‘Study Tour Planning and Management’ held in Handan, Hebei province on 15-16 November, as the expert committee chairman unit and chief editorial unit of the first set of textbooks of study tour planning and management of vocational undergraduate education.
More than 60 people including the experts and scholars, textbook editors attended the meeting hosted by the Tourism Education Press, Handan Study Tour Association, Handan College.
At the meeting, Jiang Yupeng made a summary of the meeting, and introduced the history of the college and discipline construction of study tour management and service. He systematically introduced the school's achievements from presiding over the national teaching standards of study tour management and service, developing the first set of teaching materials in China, implementing the project of junior college upgrading undergraduate education, winning the gold medal of the study tour track of the World Vocational Colleges Skills Competition, etc. He put forward suggestions and hopes for the development of undergraduate teaching materials for study tour planning and management of vocational education.
Shi Meishan, dean of the College of Culture and Tourism, shared the theme of ‘Background and Thoughts on the Construction of Undergraduate Vocational Education Major in Study Tour Planning and Management’.
The participants discussed the five core teaching materials for the undergraduate vocational education major of study tour planning and management.
The undergraduate vocational education major of study tour planning and management was promoted by the college to enter the catalogue of vocational education undergraduate, and the development of this series of teaching materials demonstrates the effectiveness of the college's training of study tour management and service.
