The college and Shandong Shunhe Hotel Group jointly hosted a training program for teachers of Henan Province on enterprise practice project (tourism service and management, operation and management of high-star hotels) from 16th August to 14th September.
41 teachers from vocational schools and colleges in Henan Province completed 30 days of enterprise practice in Jinan and Qingdao and successfully finished the course.
For the first time, the college adopted the joint approach of school-enterprise project declaration, giving full play to the brand advantages of the school's national high-quality provincial vocational education teacher training base and the provincial teachers‘ enterprise practice base of Shandong Shunhe Hotel Group. The training programme was jointly developed to focus on the essence and connotation of teachers' enterprise practice.
The whole training process was divided into two phases. The first phase focuses on the professional positions of Front Office, Housekeeping Dept.,Food&Beverage and Kitchen in Shandong Sunhe International Hotel in Jinan. The second stage focuses on the professional job groups of tourism in 5A-level scenic spots, tour and study tourism enterprises, and course ideology and politics practice bases, such as Qingdao City Transportation Culture and Tourism Group, Qingdao Beer Culture and Communication Co., Ltd.and so on.
During the training process, the participants gained a comprehensive understanding of the new technology, new methods and new trends in the development of the hospitality and tourism industry, and systematically improved their practical teaching ability.
