Shandong Vocational College TTT(Teachers, Teaching methods and Teaching materials) Reform Union held its 2023 Annual Meeting on 16th December, with the theme of Digital Transformation of Vocational Education: Patterns and Paths. Experts from the Informatisation Teaching Guidance Committee of the Ministry of Education, the China Academy of Educational Sciences and more than 40 representatives of institutions attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Li Da, Chairman of the Union and Secretary of the Party Committee of the college, made an annual work report. He said that in 2023, we have organised 5 training activities such as Teaching Resource Base Construction and Teachers' Teaching Ability Competition, set up the 2nd batch of the Union's teaching reform research projects, and compiled and issued the Policy Reader, Learning Manual and Foresight Educator platform and so on. In 2024, we will focus on the positioning of Learning Alliance, better serve the key work of Development of Undergraduate Vocational Education, Double High-level Program and Construction of High-Level Vocational Schools, continue to expand the exchange platform of the Alliance, organise thematic training conferences, promote the research of teaching reform and strengthen the publicity of vocational education achievements.
Professor Wang Junming, Chairman of the Steering Committee for Informatisation Teaching in Vocational Colleges under the Ministry of Education, made an academic report on The Connotation and Path of Digital Transformation in Vocational Education.
Professor Wang Pingzhang, President of Jinan Vocational College, made a thematic report on Sorting, Cultivating and Declaring Teaching Achievements.
The meeting commended the list of outstanding teaching reform projects of the Union in 2023, and 10 teaching reform projects, such as Research on Construction and Practice of Digital Transformation of Curriculum Based on the Reform of TTT, presided over by Zhu Mingjing of Taishan Vocational and Technical College, were recommended to be the outstanding typical cases.
Representatives from China Academy of Educational Sciences, Qingdao Hotel Management Vocational and Technical College, Taishan Vocational and Technical College, Laiyang Health School and other units made speeches on typical experience exchange.
