Recently, the students of Hyejeon College has started Chinese Cuisine Program successfully in our college. We have a wide variety of learning activities, in order to help international students integrate into Chinese campus life as soon as possible.
We organized international students to go to landmarks such as Wusi Square and Tsingtao Beer Museum to experience the charm of the city and the local culture. Focusing on the Hismile culture, we led international students to visit the School History Museum, the Culinary Culture Gallery, and the Pastry Technique Inheritance and Innovation Workshop.
To help international students to integrate into Chinese campus life as soon as possible by organizing soccer and basketball matches for Chinese and Korean students.
We organized Sino-Korean Music Appreciation Club to build a bridge of friendship between Chinese and Korean youths through music, help them seek common ground amidst cultural differences, and taste the taste to emotional identity.
We held a sharing session on Korean food exchange and invited Professor Lee Myung-chul of Hyejeon College to demonstrate the cooking skills of Korean-style Chinese food.
Taking the traditional Chinese festival of Mid-Autumn Festival as an opportunity, we held a pastry experience activity to share the origins of the festival, customs and habits, and handmade traditional mooncakes, so as to celebrate the reunion festival with the international students and alleviate their homesickness.
Next, we will continue to strengthen the humanistic care of international students, pay attention to students' professional growth, skills acquisition and other daily studies.
