The Finals of Shandong Vocational College Teaching Ability Competition were held at our school from August 28th to 29th. A total of 189 teaching teams with 752 participating teachers from 105 vocational colleges in the Shandong province engaged in fierce competition.
The competition was hosted by the Department of Education of Shandong Province, organized by the Institute of Education Sciences of Shandong Province, and co-organized by our college. The competition was divided into groups based on secondary vocational education, higher vocational education, and different courses and specialties. With 15 competition venues set up, 189 teaching teams with 752 participating teachers from 105 vocational colleges in the province engaged in fierce competition, fully demonstrating the reform achievements of vocational education in the new era and the talent of teachers.
The school attached great importance to the organization, establishing a dedicated team to coordinate and manage the competition, with the overall goal of achieving high-level competition
According to statistics, during the preparation of the competition, two school-level coordination meetings, five internal coordination meetings within the dedicated team, three internal rehearsals, and two stress tests were conducted. A total of 1000 minutes of simulated tests were organized, and three training sessions were held for the personnel involved. More than 200 teachers and students from the school were directly involved in the organization, which ultimately achieved the expected results and received unanimous praise.
On the afternoon of August 28th, the organizing committee of the competition held a pre-competition briefing in the school gymnasium, providing a comprehensive introduction to the preparation of the competition, evaluation of participating teams, rules and procedures of the finals, and competition service guarantee.
The successful co-organization of this competition showcased the achievements of teaching reform and the construction of the teacher team over the years. The school will continue to regard teaching ability competitions as an important engine to promote teaching reform and ensure the comprehensive implementation of the outcomes in classrooms.
