The Inaugural Meeting of the Scenic Area and Leisure Professional Committee

The inaugural meeting of the Scenic Area and Leisure Professional Committee of the National Tourism Vocational Education Teaching Steering Committee(NTVETSC) was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang on April 17. Li Da attended the meeting.

On behalf of the NTVETSC, Li Da, Secretary of the Party Committee of the college, read the documents on the establishment of the special committee and delivered a speech .

Li said that the special committee should strengthen the coordination of all member units, actively promote the integration of vocational schools, vocational colleges and universities, do a good job in the effective connection of the relative training programs, curriculum systems, practical training practices, etc., provide suggestions for opening up the development channel of different level schools, and play the role of the community; He also pointed out that the special committee should actively integrate into and serve the new development pattern, carry out professional theory and practice research in the face of new formats and new needs, and play a think tank role in promoting talent supply-side reform, helping professional development, and providing decision-making consultation. 

At the meeting, Li Da, Du Lanxiao,President of Zhejiang Tourism Vocational College, Cheng Daopin,President of Guilin Tourism College, and Wang Kunxin, Chairman of the Scenic Area and Leisure Special Committee, unveiled the special committee.

Zhou Hailei, Director of the Office of the School of Culture and Tourism, was elected as a member of the Scenic Area and Leisure Professional Committee. 

At present, more than 10 teachers in the college have been elected as members of the 3rd NTVETSC and special committees. The college will rely on the platforms of various special committees, closely integrate industry and education, school-enterprise cooperation, and actively lead the high-quality reform and high-level development of tourism vocational education.
