The Center of Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education released the results of the first batch of teaching resource construction projects of Chinese Plus Vocational Skills recently.
The Chinese Plus Tourism Service and Management (Primary) (English) project applied by our college was successfully approved and received the corresponding funding.
The project, led by the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, will be completed by the School of Hotel Management and the Basic Teaching Department through the cooperation of a team of teachers. The construction period is one year. The construction content is the English version of tourism service and management (primary) textbooks and supporting audio, video, teaching courseware and other digital resources.
This project has a positive significance in promoting the construction of international standards of the college's major and courses, the construction of bilingual curriculum resources, the reform of multiple teaching methods and the cultivation of international talents. It is also a phased achievement of our Double High-level Program to build a Chinese Plus Vocational project.
In recent years, depending on its professional advantages, the college has carried out Chinese Plus Skills teacher training through online platforms to improve teachers' international level and promote the integration and development of Chinese and skills education. We have successively completed the construction of a series of micro videos for Chinese cooking culture exchange, and more than 400 students received the online Chinese Plus Skills training jointly carried out with Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Mexico, South Korea,etc.
