The School of Hotel Management held the Cruise Food Festival of the 8th International Cruise Culture Festival of Shandong Guoxin International Cup in 2022.
Vice president Zhang Zongguo said in his speech that the quality of talent training was greatly improved, and the dual education model of school and enterprise was widely recognized. This cruise food festival is to open up the integration channel of culinary and tourism, promote the integration reform of post course competition certificate, and realize the beneficial exploration of curriculum ideological and political education and professional education. It is hoped that both sides will deepen cooperation and jointly promote the high-quality development of cruise vocational education.
Sun Guoqing, Chairman of Shandong Guoxin International Economic and Technical Cooperation Co., Ltd, said that the food competition jointly carried out by the two sides has innovated the form of collaborative education and is widely loved by students, which will further enhance students' sense of professional identity and belonging.
The activity was divided into several parts, including master chefs' explanation, food production, dishes display, expert evaluation, network selection and so on. Three winning teams were selected from 14 student teams and awarded prizes on the spot.
This activity guides students to cultivate quality awareness and craftsmanship spirit through innovative forms of labor education, which is an important embodiment of the School of Hotel Management actively promoting the pilot work of modern apprenticeship, and also a specific practice of the comprehensive reform of the college to improve quality.
Relevant personnel from Shandong Guoxin International Economic and Technical Cooperation Co., Ltd., Qingdao Heimu Japanese Restaurant, principals the School of Hotel Management and some teachers participated in the activity.
