The Hismile academic activity has added the Doctor Salon section since the beginning of this semester. The first Doctor Salon was lectured by Dr. Ke Ren Taizhan of the School of Culture and Tourism on September 29.
Focusing on the theme of The thinking and practice of young teachers' breakthrough of national level project and improvement of thesis writing ability, Ms. Ke Ren combines three topics, namely, statistics and analysis of national level project initiation data in recent three years, innovation and interdisciplinary integration of national level topic selection direction, specification of application writing and optimization of research team. She shared experience from the aspects of application writing specification, weight and word distribution, use mode of project guide, the structure of the topic, and refining high-frequency vocabulary and innovation points in the past three years.
Chen Chao from the Student Affairs Office and Sun Xianglai from the School of Hotel Management shared their experiences on young teachers' scientific research work in combination with their own research practice.
The purpose of the Hismile Doctor Salon is to focus on the academic development needs of young teachers, promote academic exchanges among teachers, establish a high-level goal of tackling national level projects, help the school to build a high-level faculty, and contribute to the high-quality development of the school.
In this semester, Hismile Doctor Salon is planned to hold 8 sessions, covering a wide range of topics. Most of the topics come from their respective professional research fields, and are also a concentrated display of their research achievements over the years.
