The orientation for new teachers in 2022 was held in the conference room of the Administrative Building from August 23 to 25. The college leaders attended the opening ceremony of orientation class.
At the opening ceremony, Li Da, Secretary of the Party committee of the college, made a speech on behalf of the school, pointing out that the school adheres to the high-quality development as the main line, implements the strategy of strengthening the college with talents, attaches importance to the growth of young teachers, and strives to promote the development of the teacher team to achieve higher quality.
Li Da put forward four requirements for new teachers:
First, we should improve our political standing, strengthen the construction of teachers' ethics and style, strive to be good teachers, and strive to cultivate new people who are responsible for the great task of national rejuvenation.
Second, we should adhere to our educational feelings, regard teaching and educating people as the pursuit of our lifelong career, aspire to be a good teacher, and learn to care for, understand, love and tolerate students.
Third, we should constantly improve our abilities of teaching, scientific research, and social service, and strive to become a Double qualified teacher,
Fourth, we should actively integrate into the development of the college, develop our career with the school and grow with the students.
Li Da hopes that the new teachers will complete the role transformation as soon as possible, integrate into their work posts, continue to learn, and strive to become masters in the relavant industry and field.
The training lasted for three days, and new teachers learned about the history and development of college and how to become a good teacher through the special trainings such as school history and school situation, teacher team construction, education and teaching ability construction, scientific research ability and information literacy improvement etc.
