Our college was successfully selected as a demonstration vocational college for Rural Revitalization in Shandong Province according to the notice released by Shandong Provincial Department of Education, marking that the college’s service to Rural Revitalization has been fully recognized by the society.
In recent years, we have actively connected the new and old drivers of cultural creativity, boutique tourism and other top 10 industries, optimized the professional layout, and promoted the integration of rural tourism, rural e-commerce, beautiful rural construction and other elements into the professional construction with the orientation of vocational education type.
We have promoted the curriculum system to take care of the training of rural talents, implant the Rural Revitalization Strategy, the rural issues and other elements into the curriculum ideological and political construction, and pay attention to the multi-dimensional integration of labor education, social practice and the cultivation of specialized ability.
We have focused on Rural Revitalization, carry out social services, implement the 100 villages plan for rural tourism, participate in the construction of Shandong model villages for rural revitalization, and connect villages and towns to jointly build a green development college.
We have signed a contract with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, took the lead in formulating national standards for the construction and service of national research and learning travel bases, and led the preparation of the three-year action plan for the development of rural tourism in Laoshan District.
We have created two first-class rural revitalization projects nationwide, continue to carry out Counterpart Assistance in poverty alleviation through education in Xinjiang, Gansu and other places, set up two rural revitalization classes for the benefit of the people, and help train more than 3000 people in the tourism industry.
Hongxiaoni Tour Study and other service teams developed think tanks for Langya Town, Mamuchi Township, Chishang town and other villages and towns, shot intangible cultural heritage promotional videos, organized Tiktok live broadcast to sell goods, established a public welfare group purchase alliance, promoted the development of rural industries and helped farmers increase their income. One team was rated as an excellent team for summer social practice activities of national college students.
The college will continue to make efforts on the big stage of rural revitalization, enable rural talent training to have more connotation, promote rural technical services to have a higher level, provide more effective services to rural economic development, and help rural cultural inheritance to have more characteristics.
