The College held the appointment ceremony of the new directors of the specialty and Teaching & Research Office in the conference room of the Administrative Building on March 10. President Jiang Yupeng and vice president Zhang Zongguo attended the ceremony.
During the ceremony, president Jiang analyzed the key role of specialty construction from two aspects: the realization of talent training objectives and the implementation of curriculum reform, and clarified the role orientation of specialty director and director of teaching and research office. He stressed that the specialty director and the director of the Teaching & Research Office are the organizers and leaders of specialty construction, the mainstay of promoting specialty development and reform, and the key force to improve the level of education and teaching management.
President Jiang put forward specific requirements for new directors from four aspects and he expressed the hope that all specialty systems would make good planning, take professional digital upgrading and transformation as the main line, constantly strengthen the construction of specialty connotation, and speed up the construction of a domestic first-class and internationally famous brand of comprehensive vocational education in the hospitalityindustry.
Vice president Zhang Zongguo read out the appointment list of the new directors of the specialty and Teaching & Research Office. Jiang Yupeng and Zhang Zongguo jointly issued letters of appointment to 45 newly appointed directors. Guo Guirong, director of B&B Management and Operation, made a statement on behalf of the newly appointed head of the specialty.
At present, the college is in the key stage of construction and high-quality development of Double High-level Program. We will focus on the reality of education and teaching, strengthen the coordination with specialty development, continuously improve the service of consultation and communication, and promote the construction of education and teaching connotation to a new level.
