The Restaurant Service Event of 2021 National Vocational Students Skills Competition ends in the QVTCHM

The Restaurant Service Event came to an end in the college on the morning of June 23. The judges, competitors and instructors of the competition participated in the closing ceremony.

Yi Hongyan, chief referee of the competition, commented on the overall situation of the Competition. The leader of the judging group of leisure restaurant service, cocktail preparation and service, banquet service, theme banquet design and other sub items respectively made detailed analysis and comments on each sub item.

Yi Hongyan announced the results of the Competition. Among them, 3 teams including Shandong provincial team won the first prize, 6 teams including Liaoning provincial team won the second prize, and 10 teams including Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region team won the third prize; Six teachers from Qingdao Vocational and Technical College of Hotel Management, Nanjing Institute of Tourism and Hospitality and Tourism College of Zhejiang were awarded Excellent Instructors.

It is reported that this competition is the first one after last year's trial, which pays more attention to the comprehensive ability of the players. The competition was renamed Restaurant Service by integrating the contents of the original Chinese and Western banquet design and service competition and the world skills competition.

Through the design of the guest situation, the competition is realistic. It investigates many details of the contestants, such as the preparation before the meal, the service during the meal and the arrangement after the meal. The competition focuses on innovation and application, so cocktail preparation is changed to creative cocktail, banquet theme design is to meet the requirements and characteristics of industry application.
