Shandong Modern Hotel Vocational Education Group, led by the college, held the third session of the Council and the Summit Forum on digital transformation and high quality development of tourism vocational education. More than 140 guests from 78 member units of Vocational Education Group attended the conference.
In his speech, Mr. Li Da, , Secretary of the college Party committee, said that 2020 is an extraordinary year, and it is also the beginning year for Shandong Modern Hotel Vocational Education Group to improve its quality, enhance its value-added ability, and build a highland of vocational education innovation and development. The governing units of the vocational education group have provided powerful services to serve the major projects of the transformation of old and new kinetic energy in the province, adapt to the needs of the accommodation and catering industry in the new era, and promote the resource sharing of industry associations of colleges and universities. Mr. Li said that under the new development pattern, we should take the initiative to respond to the crisis and turn it into an opportunity, use scientific and technological innovation and digital transformation to generate new development momentum, promote the organic connection of education chain, talent chain, industrial chain and innovation chain, and realize talent leading, industrial innovation and high-quality economic development.
Mr. Jiang Yupeng, President of the college and Chairman of S SMHEG, reported the work of Vocational Education Group in 2020 from eight aspects such as platform construction, talent co education and integration of production and education, and read out the work plan for 2021. Mr. Jiang said that as the chairman unit, we will adhere to the cooperative principle of four party linkage of government, school, industry and enterprise and three-dimensional promotion of industry, University and research, innovate the close group school running system and mechanism of cooperative education, cooperative education, cooperative employment and cooperative development. 14 experts including Professor Wang Hanzhong of Shandong Agricultural University are employed as vocational education experts of the hotel management professional group expert advisory committee of Double high-level program, and 18 senior executives including Li Hao, Secretary of the Party committee of Shandong Inzone Tourism Group, are employed as industry and enterprise experts.
At the Summit Forum on digital transformation and high quality development of tourism vocational education, experts at the meeting made keynote speeches on the digital transformation of hotel group, innovation of tourism format and human resource guarantee, and guest loyalty management in the digital era. The conference held three parallel forums at the same time, focusing on the high-quality development of the hotel industry in the post epidemic era.
