The 12th Challenge Cup Shandong College Students' Entrepreneurship Plan Competition (Vocational College Group) opened at our college on the evening of September 7. Nearly 40,000 people watched the opening ceremony online, which was divided into five parts: Cloud Display, Cloud Invitation, Cloud Sharing, Cloud Start and Cloud Gathering.
Li Da, Secretary of the college Party committee, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. He said that entrepreneurship is an important way to promote social and economic development and improve people's livelihood. He hoped that the majority of young people would increase their talents in innovation and entrepreneurship, integrate their passionate youth dream into the great Chinese dream. College students should be determined to innovate, dare to try challenges, and strive to be the pioneers of the entrepreneurial era and set an example for the majority of students with innovative spirit and realistic work style.

Zhang Chuan, an alumnus of the college and chairman of the board of directors of No.1 Songhe road Catering Management Co., Ltd., Zhang Shuai, founder of Zhixing chuangxiang e-commerce Co., Ltd., and Guo Kai, loader driver of Qingdao port current fleet, etc. shared the stories of entrepreneurship and striving for success based on their post.

It’s a provincial competition with guidance, demonstration and mass sponsored by Shandong Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, Shandong Provincial Department of Education, Shandong Science and Technology Association and Shandong Student Union, and undertaken by our college. At present, it is the most concerned and popular competition among college students in the province, because it’s also the most representative, authoritative, exemplary and oriented.
The competition focuses on the five major development concepts of innovation, coordination, green, openness and sharing, and sets up five thematic groups, including technological innovation and future industry, rural revitalization and poverty alleviation”, “urban governance and social services”, “ecological environmental protection and sustainable development”, and “cultural creativity and regional cooperation”. These are designed to stimulate young students' innovative spirit, cultivate their entrepreneurial awareness, enhance their socialization ability, and cultivate a solid force for promoting the development of our province.
