We launched the online teaching activities from February 24, according to the general requirements of the Provincial Department of Education and the teaching arrangement of the second semester of 2019-2020 academic year of our college. Online teaching has been running smoothly this week, and on the first day, a total of 208 teachers opened 162 courses, covering more than 170 classes, with more than 6800 students participating in online learning activities.
In accordance with the principle of no reduction in standards, no pause in learning and no interruption in research, the Academic Affairs Office, Education Information Center and other relevant departments coordinated and guaranteed the online teaching activities. By adopting online platforms such as Tsinghua Online, Rain Class, Wisdom Tree, MOOC, most teachers carried out online teaching through video teaching, voiced PPT live broadcast, online self-study ,discussion and question answering, student uploading homework and so on.
Both the Dept. of Culture and Tourism and the Dept. of Hotel Management held an online new semester opening ceremony, and strengthened ideological guidance and life education. We hoped that students would value life and be grateful, stay at home and never forget to learn. A ll the students should make full use of the online learning to improve themselves and firmly believe in winning the battle of epidemic prevention and control.
