Recently, the college carried out online training for teachers to improve their teaching ability of using live broadcast platforms, so as to reduce the impact of COVID19 on school learning.
Carry out the training for all staff to reach the standard through network
On February 2, we launched the second round of network training for basic teaching ability of teachers in advance to prepare for the start of the spring semester according to the implementation plan of the network training program for basic teaching ability of teachers.
The project introduces the MOOC platform of China University, and uses the network to improve the basic teaching ability of teachers. The training courses include 10 online courses such as Classroom Teaching Skills and Teaching Application of Mind Map. Both full-time and part-time teachers are required to learn at least one course that can be completed through the mobile phone or computer. The course can be divided into Excellent, Pass and other grades are included in the teacher's basic term assessment through credit exchange.
We shall contact major online education service platforms to provide technical support for teachers to build online courses and teach online.
Using live broadcast platform to carry out online training
On February 3, the college invited Professor Chen Zhenyuan, former director of Vocational Education Research Office of Xiamen Academy of education and Sciences, to give a lecture on How to prepare for the teaching ability competition in 2020 online live training through the Rain Classroom live broadcasting platform.
Professor Chen Zhenyuan made a concrete analysis of each requirement from three aspects of talent training, teaching reform and teacher growth. He also explained in detail the compilation of teaching plan catalogue, drawing of teaching flow chart and other key points.
The cultivation and training of teaching ability competition works is an important part of the training in the first half of 2020, which is divided into several parts, such as centralized training, group Q & A, one-to-one guidance, etc. In order to actively respond to the epidemic, the college adjusted the on-site training to live online, and encouraged teachers to use the online platform no suspension of classes, no delay in teaching.
