The Restaurant Service Qualification of the 46th World Skills Contest, WSC was held in Shandong Province from November 25 to 26. Liu Yue won the won second prize with the total score ranking No.3.
The contest consists of four modules: ala carte service for western food, making of coffee and western dishes, tasting of wine and spirits, mixing of wine and making cocktails, which are in line with WSC from venue layout, contest process and scoring standards. In addition to the basic skills of Western food service, more emphasis is placed on the players' active service awareness, flexible service skills and English communication skills.
Through participating in the contest, the reform of catering service courses was further clarified, which will play a positive role in promoting the cultivation of more high-level catering service talents with international vision and excellent skills in the future.
