The Ministry of Education held the eighth 1 + 1 interview activity in Qingdao on October 17. The media chose our college as first station of interview. The interview group consisted of 50 reporters from 15 central media such as people's daily, Xinhua news agency, CCTV, China Youth Daily, China Education Daily.
We specially arranged an interview meeting for the 1 + 1 media press conference of vocational teacher policy. Ms. Li yiou, a first-class researcher of Qingdao Municipal Bureau of education, introduced the development of Vocational Education in Qingdao. Li Da, Secretary of the Party committee of QVTCHM, introduced the construction of the Faculty of the college.
After the meeting, many media interviewed Li Da on the spot. During the half-hour interview, the reporters raised several professional questions about the development of teachers in vocational education. Li Da explained to the media the main methods of the faculty construction of our college in recent years, insisting on system guidance, mode innovation and international training. We’ve also expanded the quality training platform of double teachers, and served the development of enterprises and large-scale competitions. At the same time, We’ve built the teacher training base of school factory, actively undertaken community work and other projects.
The media group visited the training center of the Dept. of Tourism and Hotel Management, the Dept. of Culinary Arts and Cainiao Post Station, which shows our school running characteristics. To understand the vocational education, the reporters directly entered classroom and training base and watched the practical training and classroom teaching of tea art, coffee, wine mixing, banquet setting, bed making, carving, Chinese and Western pastry, logistics and express delivery, etc. Some teachers were interviewed on the spot, such as Zhou Li, director of International Office, Qin Binghai, general manager of Cainiao Post Station, and Yin Ping, director of hotel management and Wang Guiyun, a Chinese culinary master.
