On April 15, Brett Mohani, Vice President of TAFE SA, and Jia Feixia, Director of Global Strategic Development, visited our college. The two sides jointly held a ceremonial ceremony for the issuance of Australian TAFE Level IV certificates. Li Da, Party Secretary of QVTCHM, Yu Min, Diao Hongbin, and Gong Enlong, Vice President of QVTCHM attended the ceremony.
During the ceremony, Li Da delivered a speech and warmly welcomed Brett's visit again and congratulated the teachers who had successfully obtained the TAFE Level 4 certificates, a global certificate of professional qualifications for teachers. He summarized a series of fruitful cooperation achievements made by the two schools in the past year, including exchange of visits between leaders, mutual construction of sister schools, approved Sino-foreign cooperative school-running projects in hotel management specialty, and training of professional teachers in TAFE semester system in South Australia. He said that the cooperation and exchanges between the two sides have reached a new stage and will surely achieve more fruitful cooperation results in the future. It is becoming a model of vocational education cooperation between Shandong Province and South Australia.
Brett thanked the College for its warm reception. He introduced that TAFE Training and Assessment Level IV Certificate is a necessary qualification for trainers and assessors in the field of vocational education and training in Australia. It has strong international influence and is known for its strict assessment.
The Australian TAFE40116 certificate obtained by our teachers is the latest training package in Australia. Our college has become the first high-standard and high-quality vocational college in China to complete the study of Australian TAFE40116 certificate. Brett fully affirmed the teachers' learning achievements, and issued the Australian TAE40116 certificates for participating teachers.
After the certification ceremony, Brett held a symposium with TAFE training teachers and representatives of TAFE training teachers in South Australia to share their experiences on TAFE training. Teachers said that they have gradually applied the new ideas, means and methods of Australian vocational education to their daily education and teaching. They have constantly explored the practice of bilingual teaching, promoted the reform of education and teaching, further built a curriculum system that meets the international standards of Vocational education, and contributed to the construction of high-quality schools and the promotion of international influence.
