In his speech, President Han Xiqing introduced the college’s school-running features, achievements in digital campus construction and international education. He stated that natural disasters pose a shared challenge to humanity. Leveraging new technologies such as artificial intelligence to improve disaster early warning capacity meets the common aspiration of people of all countries and serves as a vivid practice in building a community with a shared future for mankind.
The seminar actively responds to the Belt and Road Initiative for educational cooperation and helps countries jointly tackle natural disasters, carrying far-reaching significance.

The training program was developed by the School of Continuing Education. It integrates resources from the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Ocean University of China, Qingdao University of Science and Technology, Qingdao City Exhibition Hall, Qingdao Guoshi Technology Group and other institutions.
