On October 16, the first Qingdao Youth Voluntary Service Exchange and Micro-lecture Activity was held at our college.
Under the theme Learning from Each Other to Improve, Building New Achievements through Youth Volunteerism, the activity attracted more than 40 representatives from various youth voluntary service organizations across the city. It aimed to showcase outstanding project outcomes, build a platform for mutual observation, learning and exchange, and inject new momentum into the high-quality development of the city's youth voluntary service work.
At the event, representatives of outstanding voluntary service project teams from our college shared their experiences in turn.

The Shi Ke Xiang Ban (Food Companionship) elderly dietary health service project of the School of Culinary Arts introduced its approach and practical measures in dietary care and health education for the elderly.

The Golden Dolphin Games and Events Volunteer Service project of the School of Hospitality Management elaborated on hands-on experience in recruiting and organizing volunteers, on-site management and emergency support for major events.

The Qing Lai Rural Cloud Livestream Assistance project of the School of Business Administration told the story of young students taking root in rural areas and leveraging the new livestream business model to boost rural revitalization through their professional expertise.

Following the sharing session, the representatives visited an exhibition of our college's outstanding voluntary service project outcomes at the library. The exhibition featured 10 featured projects from the college's eight schools, showcasing the voluntary practices of young students who, grounded in their professional strengths, proactively serve society. The representatives then toured the training bases of the School of Business Administration and the School of Culinary Arts to gain an in-depth understanding of the college's approach to cultivating voluntary service projects based on its distinctive majors.

The activity was not only a citywide exchange of mutual learning among youth voluntary service organizations, but also a vivid demonstration of the integrated development of professional education and voluntary service at our college.

Seizing this opportunity, the college will continue to deepen the organic integration of professional education with social practice and voluntary service, guiding young students to grow their abilities, hone their skills and contribute to society through volunteerism, thereby empowering the high-quality economic and social development of Qingdao with youthful voluntary strength.
