On September 11, the college’s 2026 freshmen welcome gala was grandly held at the stadium.
Diao Hongbin, Secretary of the Party Committee, President Han Xiqing, together with other college leaders, heads of functional departments and schools, and counselors attended the event.
With the theme of “Striving for the 15th Five-Year Plan, Chasing Dreams to the Distance”, the gala consisted of two chapters. Marking the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, it centered on patriotism.
Teachers and students presented diverse performances including songs, dances, stage plays and crossover shows. The show paid tribute to China’s achievements and concluded with the inspiring song China in the Lights.
The gala encourages freshmen of class 2026 to forge ahead on their college journey. They are urged to integrate youthful ideals into national development and contribute to China’s modernization drive.
