On August 14, the kick-off seminar on the development of training condition construction standards for tourism majors in vocational schools was held in Haikou. The meeting arranged the development of the 8th batch of relevant standards covering 22 majors in seven categories. Our college leads the standard formulation for study tourism majors with a 12-month working cycle.
Shi Meishan, Dean of the School of Culture and Tourism, led in-depth discussions on talent cultivation, training programs, facility allocation and digital teaching scenarios, and reported the group’s achievements and follow-up plans. As a key participant in national study tourism education standard formulation, our college has facilitated the inclusion of relevant majors in higher vocational and vocational undergraduate catalogues.
The new standards will promote the standardized, normalized and digital development of study tourism practical training, supporting integrated talent cultivation and training base construction. The college will cooperate with multiple parties to complete high-quality standard compilation and empower the high-quality development of the cultural and tourism industry.
