On August 17, Diao Hongbin, Secretary of the College Party Committee, led members of the college leadership team to the construction site of the student apartment renovation project for on-site supervision. The visit aimed to advance the final-stage work of the summer student apartment renovation project, ensure the project is delivered on schedule with guaranteed quality and quantity, and lay a solid foundation for the start of the new semester.
Currently, the student apartment renovation project has entered a critical final sprint stage, with facility commissioning, site rectification, indoor cleaning and other follow-up work being carried out simultaneously. During the supervision, the college leadership team inspected each construction building, carefully examined the remaining construction procedures, on-site safety management and control, finished product protection and environmental improvement work. They listened carefully to work reports from the principals of the construction and supervision units, and gained a comprehensive understanding of the progress of project completion, rectification of potential safety hazards, preparation for final acceptance and other key work details.
Diao Hongbin fully affirmed the phased achievements of the summer apartment renovation project. He pointed out that the student apartment renovation is a people-benefiting warm-hearted project for all students, as well as a key project to optimize the campus education environment and improve the college's service quality for education.
Targeting the follow-up final-stage work, Diao Hongbin put forward three requirements. First, strictly adhere to the bottom line of quality. Second, firmly consolidate the defense line of safety. Third, fully consolidate work responsibilities.
Han Xiqing, President of the college, stressed that all relevant departments should strictly control the detailed quality of the project, standardize safe construction procedures, efficiently promote the follow-up work including furniture installation, site cleaning and supporting facility improvement, so as to present a brand-new accommodation environment for students in the new semester.
Other members of the college leadership team made refined arrangements for key links including construction period control, material deployment and project acceptance preparation in combination with their respective responsibilities, ensuring all final-stage work is implemented effectively and carried out in an orderly manner.
