On July 3, the 2026 Annual Working Meeting of the National Industry-Education Integration Community and the Study Tour & Education Industry Dialogue Event were successfully held at the Qingdao International Conference Center.
Held under the framework of the Shandong Provincial Study Tourism Development Conference and the 2026 China Study Tour and Education Industry Expo, the event was undertaken by the college as the leading unit of the community. More than 100 representatives from national research institutes, universities, vocational colleges, industry enterprises and community member units attended the event, which was presided over by Shi Meishan, Dean of the College of Culture and Tourism.
President Han Xiqing, Fan Zeyuan, First-Level Researcher of Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, and Yang Xinlan, General Manager of Qingdao Chengyun Culture and Tourism Group Co., Ltd., attended and addressed the event.
President Han affirmed the community’s vital achievements in connecting industrial demands, cultivating professional talents and driving the transformation and upgrading of the study tour industry since its establishment. He pointed out that vocational education and the study tour industry have ushered in new opportunities for integrated development, and called on all parties to jointly strengthen the community brand and empower the high-quality development of the study tour industry. Fan Zeyuan and Yang Xinlan congratulated the community on its fruitful progress, stating that Qingdao will leverage its cultural and tourism resources to build a national benchmark city for the industry-education integration of study tours.
An awarding ceremony was held for outstanding contributing units and newly added vice-chairman units. Two key industrial achievements were officially released, namely the Project of Qingdao Iconic Study Tour Resources and the 2026 Shandong Study Tourism Market Prosperity Survey Report. In the keynote speech session, industry experts shared in-depth insights on the implementation of the spring and autumn vacation system, AI-enabled study tours and practical education policies. In the roundtable dialogue, representatives from colleges and enterprises conducted in-depth discussions on curriculum reform, teacher team building and base operation to optimize talent cultivation and high-quality industrial development.
Adhering to the college’s industry-education integration philosophy of “enterprise proposition, school-enterprise collaboration and market evaluation”, the event integrated resources from governments, industries, enterprises and schools to boost the integrated construction of study tour majors. A special book exhibition of professional series books was held during the event, and participants conducted field inspections of Qingdao’s characteristic study tour resources.
The community will give full play to the college’s advantages in culture and tourism majors, deepen multi-party cooperation in curriculum development, base construction, talent training and standard formulation, and realize the mutual empowerment and coordinated upgrading of vocational education and the study tour industry.
