The 7th Qingdao Multinationals Summit was successfully held from June 15 to 16. Building on its signature Golden Dolphin Volunteer Federation, the School of Hospitality Management selected elite students to form a dedicated volunteer team. With professional expertise and rigorous service, the volunteers ensured smooth conference operations and earned high praise from the organizing committee and global participants.
As China’s premier national institutional economic and trade event for multinational enterprises, the summit attracted representatives from 357 multinational corporations across 44 countries and regions. In response to its high international service standards, the college provided pre-summit training covering international etiquette, guest reception, on-site guidance, emergency response and conference workflows. Combining theoretical tutoring with practical drills, the program standardized services and strengthened volunteers’ comprehensive capabilities.
During the event, volunteers served in key roles including conference reception, venue management, consultation and logistical support. Integrating hotel management expertise with on-site practice, they delivered standardized, enthusiastic and meticulous services, guaranteeing the orderly running of all summit activities and presenting the college students’ fine professional demeanor and literacy.
We have long focused on industry-education integration and practical education. The Golden Dolphin brand has consistently supported high-level municipal and provincial exhibitions and international summits, serving as a highlight of the college’s talent cultivation and local social services.
The summit volunteer work fully validated the college’s teaching outcomes and talent training quality, and embodied its commitment to empowering the high-end service industry and urban opening-up.
The college will further improve its school-local practical education mechanism.
