The college successfully held the 3rd Campus First Aid Skills Contest at the campus emergency first aid training base on June 11.
With the theme of Rescue on Campus, Youth Take the Lead, the contest focused on practical first aid skills and life literacy education.
The contest was open to students with Red Cross first aid certificates. Over a hundred eligible students signed up, and 38 outstanding contestants advanced to the final after rigorous preliminary selection.
The event invited experts from the Qingdao Red Cross as the chief referee and jury members. Before the contest, all judges collectively studied the core essentials of the 2025 Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Guidelines to unify evaluation criteria and ensure a professional, standardized and impartial contest.
The contest awarded first, second and third prizes as well as several honorable mentions. The top ten contestants were included in the college’s first aid talent reserve pool as candidates for municipal and provincial contests.
Outstanding winners were appointed as Campus First Aid Teaching Assistants to promote peer education and foster a positive atmosphere of mutual learning and progress in campus first aid training.
This contest improves practical ability and cultivates students through contests, serving as a vivid practice of campus life safety education.
The college will further optimize its first-aid education system, expand training into comprehensive life education, encourage students to respect life, master rescue skills and dare to offer help, and consolidate the security line for a safe campus.
