On June 2, Zhang Liang, General Manager of China Mobile Qingdao Branch, led a delegation to our college for an inspection and exchange visit.
Diao Hongbin, Party Secretary of the college, and Vice President Yu Honggang attended the symposium. Focusing on the theme of Empowering Development through Digital Intelligence, Shaping the Future, the two sides held in-depth discussions on advancing the high-quality development of vocational education and deepening strategic school-enterprise cooperation.
Diao Hongbin expressed sincere gratitude to China Mobile Qingdao Branch for its long-term support for the college’s information construction and development, while affirming the fruitful results achieved through industry-education integration in previous cooperation. He noted that the college is currently in a pivotal stage of upgrading to an undergraduate-level vocational and technical university, which raises higher requirements for the development of campus information systems and computing power infrastructure. He expressed the hope that both parties would leverage the enterprise’s technological strengths to integrate deeply into the university’s top-level development planning, jointly build a high-standard, intelligent smart campus, and consolidate a solid digital foundation for the high-quality development of the college.
Zhang Liang introduced the development strategy of China Mobile Qingdao Branch, which focuses on three core businesses: communication, computing power and intelligence, and fosters new quality productive forces centered on digitalization, computing and intelligent technologies. He stated that the company will give full play to its technological and professional advantages in intelligent computing centers and new-type data centers. It will provide customized computing power support as well as one-stop integrated services including planning, construction and operation and maintenance for the college’s teaching and scientific research.
In addition, both sides will jointly design the overall architecture of the smart campus, build a campus intelligent operation center and develop a smart management cockpit. These efforts will help the college achieve intelligent campus governance and data-driven scientific decision-making, jointly forging a new landscape for high-quality coordinated development between the college and the enterprise.
